MCTS is operated by a private non-profit corporation that reports directly to the County Board of Supervisor’s Transportation, Public Works, and Transit Committee. They are responsibile for making all decisions regarding bus service which are then sent to the entire Milwaukee County Board for approval. MCTS develops recommendations for their budget which is then made by the County Executive and sent to the County Board for approval every year.

Write Scott Walker and your County Board representative and tell them that you oppose cuts to public transit in Milwaukee County!
