Comments are closed on our news stories, however they are automatically published to our Facebook Group, Twitter timeline and our message board’s news section for comment.
Comments on these stories on the Facebook Page that are obscene and/or racist will be removed. Users who post replies on our Twitter timeline that are obscene and/or racist will be blocked.
Files
Throughout this site are posted files. Here is a brief explanation of the file types and necessary applications to open them.
Portable Document Format (.pdf) files are the most prevalent posted file type on our site. They are denoted with a 
icon. PDF files are opened by the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Microsoft Word 1997-2003 Document (.doc) files may rarely get posted to this site. They are denoted with a 
icon. DOC files are opened by the free Microsoft Word Viewer.
Microsoft Excel 1997-2003 Spreadsheet (.xls) files may rarely get posted to this site. They are denoted by a 
icon. XLS files are opened by the free Microsoft Excel Viewer.
Microsoft PowerPoint 1997-2003 Presentation (.ppt) files may rarely get posted to this site. They are denoted by a 
icon. PPT files are opened by the free Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer.
OpenDocument Text (.odt) files may be posted alongside DOC files when necessary to post a DOC file. ODT files are denoted by a 
icon. ODT files can be opened by either the free Apache OpenOffice suite or the free LibreOffice suite.
OpenDocument Presentation (.odp) files may be posted alongside PPT files when necessary to post a PPT file. They are denoted by a 
icon. ODP files can be opened by either the free Apache OpenOffice suite or the free LibreOffice suite.
ASCII Text (.txt) files have been rarely posted to this site. They are denoted with a 
icon. TXT files can be read by any text editor.
ZIP Archive (.zip) files have been rarely posted to this site. They are denoted with a 
icon. ZIP archives can be read with PKZIP or ZIP Reader by PKWARE (formerly known as PKunzip).
Rich Text Format (.rtf) files have been posted to this site in the past. They have been replaced with PDF uploads.
