- VISION 2050
SEWRPC will be holding the next round of VISION 2050 workshops in September. We will discuss the results of the workshops so far and the upcoming workshops in September. - NEW BUS ROUTES
As a result of the groundbreaking lawsuit launched by Milwaukee Inner-city Congregations Allied for Hope (MICAH) and the Black Health Coalition of Wisconsin (BHCW) against WisDOT there will be new bus service started to connect central city residents with jobs in the suburban and exurban industrial parks. Two routes will be starting this month. We will discuss what is being done to educate the riding public about these routes and what we could do to help spread the word. - RIDE & REGISTER UPDATE & DISCUSSION
We will discuss non-partisan civic engagement and outreach efforts centered around the 2014 midterm elections. Funding has been approved and fundraising activities are being scheduled. - I-94 CAMPAIGN UPDATE
We will provide a brief update on our efforts as part of the campaign to stop the expansion of I-94 between 16th Street and 70th Street.
